Rummy Game Rules at RummyProArena
Dealing Cards
Each player is dealt 13 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a closed deck, and the top card is opened to start the discard pile.
Game Objective
Collect card combinations (sets and sequences) and be the first to get rid of all the cards in your hand.
Creating Sets
A set is three or four cards of the same rank but different suits (e.g., three Jacks of different suits).
Creating Sequences
A sequence is three or more consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 7, 8, 9 of clubs).
Game Play
On their turn, a player can take a card from the deck or the discard pile, and then must discard one card.
Winning a Round
The player who first collects all their cards into combinations and discards the last card is declared the winner of the round.
